What is the government fee and the decision timeline?
The government fee prescribed with Form IA is ₹5,000 per application, payable to the authority. A complete application is to be decided preferably within 45 days, extendable by up to 15 days.
How is a substance traded under a brand name identified?
By its active ingredient, as stated in the material safety data sheet. Where the active ingredient appears in the Schedule, the preparation is regulated accordingly.
