- Licensed and installed production capacity 
- Pollution Control Board consent (Consent to Establish / Operate) 
- Quantities imported and consumed in each of the last three financial years, with the final product made from them (a CA certificate is the usual evidence) 

## Questions about the list

**Q: Is this the complete list of scheduled insecticides?**
 No. It lists products for which CIB&RC commonly issues import permits for non-insecticidal use. The Schedule to the Insecticides Act is longer, so a chemical missing here may still need a permit.

**Q: Do branded preparations need a permit?**
 If they contain a scheduled active, generally yes. Ranges such as Preventol, Troysan and Nipacide include several variants, so check the exact grade.

**Q: Do small reference standard packs need a permit?**
 Not for unit packs of 5 grams or less of certified reference material or reference standards.
